Thaaron Kalt serves as Controller of Allco Construction, Inc., where he oversees the company's financial operations and helps guide its continued growth across Northern Nevada.
A fifth-generation Nevadan and third-generation Certified Public Accountant, Thaaron carries forward a family legacy in both his home state and his profession. He earned his Master's degree in Accounting from the University of Nevada and holds the Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) credential in addition to his CPA license, reflecting a career-long commitment to financial integrity and rigorous oversight.
Thaaron began his career at Grant Thornton, where he worked as an audit associate until the firm closed its Reno office. He then joined Casey Neilon, Inc., rising to the position of Manager before being recruited to serve as Controller of Allco Construction, Inc. in 2021.
In his role, Thaaron directs the full scope of Allco's accounting and finance functions.
These tasks include job cost accounting and work-in-progress reporting, percentage-of-completion revenue recognition, cash flow forecasting and management, budgeting, financial statement preparation, and the design and enforcement of internal controls.
He also manages banking, surety, and bonding relationships, oversees accounts payable and receivable, coordinates payroll and tax compliance, and partners with project teams and executive leadership to keep projects financially on track from bid to close-out.
Thaaron is an active member of the Northern Nevada chapter of NAIOP, the Commercial Real Estate Development Association, and completed the association's Developing Leaders Institute in 2024. He also serves on the Reno Rodeo Foundation Board, where he held the office of Treasurer from 2022 to 2024 and currently serves as Vice President for the 2026–2028 term. His connection to the construction industry runs deep and personal. Growing up, Thaaron worked alongside his father remodeling numerous houses and apartments, developing an early appreciation for the trade that he now supports from the financial side of the business. When he isn't balancing the books, he can be found enjoying the great outdoors that Northern Nevada, Idaho, and Montana have to offer.

Eden Towers is a modern Allco Design Build project offering luxury amenities and unique floor plans. Designed for traveling nurses and contract workers, it features secured parking, a rooftop deck, and a central location near Downtown Reno.

The Retreat is a hillside residential community featuring 230 apartment units, 53 townhomes, and two clubhouses with panoramic views of Reno and the Sierras. Allco managed the apartments from civil through completion and completed the townhomes as a vertical construction takeover.

Ground-up construction of a 177-unit Extended Stay America Premier Hotel, delivered in collaboration with local ownership and ESA’s corporate team. The project was recognized by ESA for exceptional quality and on-time delivery.
